We are Janette and Mark, we decided to foster really for myself. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and found I had to give up my usual job. I was working with children then, a cook in a nursery. As my time with cancer was slowly getting to a point that I was wanting to go back to work 3 years into treatment. I wondered what kind of job I could manage. We sat and thought, and we decided that if I can still be a Mum to our children and a Nana to my grandchildren then surely, I can be a guardian to children that needed to be looked after. So, we looked at various foster agencies, and decided to give CFS Care a call.
